A lot of freshman year and sophomore talent finally showed a significant time in the Hawaii Bowl. Sure, you can say that Hawaii is not just the engine of college football, but for those who watched the match, one thing is clear:

The second year wide receiver speed of Golden Tate was evident with 6 receptions for 177 yards, including 3 of the capture and execution of hitting 18, 40 and 69 yards, running from the back defensive coverage. Tate led the team with 52 receptions for 903 yards and 7 TD in the regular season.

The speed of freshman running Amando Allen was evident with 2 doses of 59 yards, including a 18-yard kickoff return and an electrification of 96 yards for a touchdown.

The 6 feet 3 inches, 200 pounds size and hands freshman year receiver, Michael Floyd, who set Notre Dame freshman record in the regular season with 46 receptions for 702 yards and 7 touchdowns.

The 6 feet 6, 252-pound size of the freshman tight end Kyle Rudolph, who caught 4 passes for 78 yards.

The game of the 6-foot-5, 304 first-year law-pound guard Trevor Robinson, who helped cut the sacks allowed offensive line in the regular season from 58 to 20, the lowest total in 8 years.

A quarter-second precision Jimmy Clausen year has been nothing short of astonishing. Clausen was 22-of-26 for 401 yards and 5 touchdowns. Hawaii coach Greg Guerrero McMacklin said, including his years in the NFL, Clausen was "the most accurate I've ever seen."

Notre Dame has a position clearly impressive in some players who have reached maturity despite his youth. Now, Charlie Weis needs to find the front to better protect and help them succeed. The Irish defense had 8 sacks and 2 forced fumbles in his victory Bowl in Hawaii.

Notre Dame is the development of a "we are one" mentality. In the Hawaii Bowl Trophy football pineapple was introduced into the center of the field after the victory every Irish player who came to get their hands on award, they were interested in what the law intended to Notre Dame football tradition in Ireland and themselves.

Did anyone notice that Charlie Weis called a heck of a game from the floor stand? Believe me when I say that Hawaii Warriors noticed.

Notre Dame fans should not be surprising, therefore, the era of Charlie Weis at Notre Dame has officially begun with his players, his system, and its first bowl victory as coach of the Irish struggle.
