There are 4 matches scheduled this week for the playoffs in the NFL in 2008. As I see only 3 teams will host the winner along with 1 outsider.

Cowboys Dallas – New York Giants. I consider myself somewhat of a Homer. I grew up in Louisiana and New Orleans Saints / Archie Manning fan cowl child. I like both the son of The Archies and always root for them to do well. Eli played his college ball at Mississippi, where I live now, so I followed his college career very close.

I think the moral victory for the Giants against the Patriots in Week 17 has become much more confidence than most people think. Eli finally has a monkey on his back last week with his first playoff victory. A little known fact is that Michael Spurlock, a punt return the other team is the guy who succeeded Eli as a quarterback Ole Miss

I think the Giants have momentum now with Tony Roma's – Jessica Simpson curse propel the Giants to victory in the first meeting playoffs between these two teams.

In keeping with the theme of Manning, the Colts hope to take care of the Chargers that contain not much problem. The Chargers gave the Colts one of the two loses this season that really mattered. Peyton Manning had a terrible day with 6 interceptions. No question that to happen again! After a start slow, Norv Turner led the Chargers in fact beyond Marty did last year, but I think run to the end of the week.

The Jaguars pushed by the team with my namesake, as a kicker last week (Pittsburgh Steelers, Jeff Reed). The Jaguars have played well all seaon long, but with undefeated record Patriots and quarterback of the box, Tom Brady and receiver Randy Moss for registration, I do not see much hope not only for the Jaguars. Moss has Jerry Rice single season hit record this season. Once again, I'm a homer and Jerry Rice has seen him play at least 5 times in his senior year in college. I bet by the standing record, but in vain. I hoped so Tom will not break the scoring record of Peyton who had a couple of seasons ago, but again without success. That pass touchdown even broke two records. I wonder what kept the ball.

The last match of the weekend will be played between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks. Holgreen Mike taking his team to Green Bay to play Aginst team won the Super Bowl. Again, I am rooting for a circuit and connect the Mississippi Brett Favre to Donald Driver. I do not see Seattle with the firepower to destroy the Packers.
